Minutes Silence Or Minutes Applause?

Both, minutes silence for respect and applause to show how much we appreciated Big Mal and all he has done for City

How about all Blues heading for the beach at some point pre game on Sunday and writing a BIG Mal tribute in the sand.Tide is out and what a sight albeit a temporary one...but one he may see from where he is now.
Would put this as a thread but havnt got enough posts...so if anyone thinks this would be good..spread the word.

I'm torn on this one... silence as it would be well respected and very emotional, just as the man deserves, but as other posters have said, he was so larger than life, applause and noise seems more fitting.
So, in conclusion I go for minutes silence then raise the roof when the refs whistle blows at the end of it.

well said - I doff my fedora to you.

I have been thinking of a fitting way to salute such a great man. If there is no minutes silence planned for Sunday’s game at Blackpool, I think we should all group together as one and show our respect to the Big Man. What do you think of holding our own 5 minutes silence holding our scarves aloft from the moment the referee kicks the game off until 16:05. This would be a terrific mark of respect to one of our true greats.

That young man is a fantastic idea,it will certainly make the hairs on my back/neck tingle if thats the right saying. He was one of the reasons i first supported City,an extrovert, cocky witty and brilliant. He is a Legend and desrves a Bronze statue .

RIP
