Mirror article about Kompany and Pellegrini

+1. First 5 games of the season was some time ago and a lot of water has flowed under the bridge since. Putting the same back 4 together because of those games guarantees nothing

Otamendi has been a complete fucking liability at times. However, he is still coming to terms with the league and I'm in no doubt he will go on to be a great player for us. Kompany is our captain and was in great form, he is motivated and if fit he should play. If we play Otamendi, I can't see him lasting 90 minutes.
Kompany and Mangala should start.

That's the problem though. Yes he is a leader and loves nothing more that giving the scum pain, but we don't know how fit he is. I for one would love to see him against the rags, but that decision is down to Pellers and his team.

As for Otamendi being a complete liability... several of our team could have that badge against them.

Our best team most definitely includes Kompany. Unless the bollocks was refering to the Pellegrini part.
The Pellegrini part. I agree with the way Pellers has treated Kompany after the Belgian thing.

But I think he will play him tomorrow and not need to pull his head out of his arse. Pellers has now made it clear to everyone what he feels about a player being out for a while then playing for their country, especially Kun given the upcoming internationals being around the time we expect him back.

Manuel needs to get his head out of his arse and pick our best possible team!! That team includes Vincent kompany!

I think Kompany should play if fit. But I don't see anything wrong in MP keeping his chosen team to himself. No need to tell the world who will play and nothing wrong in keeping the three players wondering until nearer the kick off (they'll probably be told after today's training session).

We don't actually know how MP has treated Kompany after the Belgian thing. We don't know how fit he was after returning from international duty. The assumption is that he's punishing Kompany but it could be that he genuinely didn't think that Kompany was 100% fit and was concerned at bringing him back too quickly after his previous injury record. Or it might be that he was fit but MP wanted to give Otamendi and Managala a couple of games together. It could be a comparable decision to when he played Willy at Spurs, which as far as I know wasn't because he was unhappy with Hart.

Its all guesswork.

All from the mirror, the same paper that spent months reporting 'Ronaldo day' a couple of years back as the day the tranny would be rejoining the scum. Nothing to see.

If Kompany plays he will at some point chase Rooney to the halfway line and pick up a stupid booking. If he doesn't play Mangala will do the same thing. Otamendi will probably kick him in the face. We need to get the Dunnie monster back asap and get him to teach these clowns how to defend
