whilst its a complete disgrace that osc members can get tickets for such important games without having the requisite number of points, im sure if someone off here was offered one of those said tickets right now, they would take it on a no questions asked basis.

Yes they would but that is because the damage has been done and it is now a free for all. Despite my moaning i would take one. The debate when the tickets came on sale and not now. Thinking of doing the London marathon as according to some charity works helps. OSC - Fleecing true fans out of tickets

respect your honesty mick and im sure 99% of people would do the same as you. was just playing devils advocate really and as you imply the current system stinks.

good luck with that marathon, you could be bluemoons answer to jimmy saville ;)

However, I found out a few years ago that you could look at your purchase history of tickets on MCFC.co.uk. So I went on to see, just out if interest. I got confused as I noticed that loads of away games I'd been to hadn't been put on the list. I then saw that if they had i would have had more Loyalty Points than I did. I went through old programmes and found ticket stubs and confirmed that all the games that I hadn't been awarded points for were games I'd been to with the Supporters Club branch. I wasn't happy. I emailed City about it and they told me to speak to the branch, as they also would. I went to the next meeting and brought it up. They weren't happy with me and said I'd got them in trouble. I explained that them points were MY points, nobody elses. But they said I was being selfish and that the branch was more important than any one member.

I turned my back on that branch and decided to just get my own tickets from City. I've accumulated a good amount of points but am still actually 280 Loyty Points short of what I should have.
the exact same thing happened to the two lads i go to away games with
they go everywhere watching city including euro aways
they missed out on the derby tickets by twelve minutes
yet if they had their 'real' loyalty points it would be over 6000

This is exactly it, I'm a proud member of a supporters club, they do a hell of a lot for the club with the branch managers not getting a penny out of it. I got a ticket through my own points as you have to have enough points to qualify to get a ticket anyway. where was this thread last week when we didnt sell out for Birmingham?

Also not sold out 800 tickets for Aris?

Just because its united everybody wants to go, try going to the lesser games and maybe youll stand a chance!

Hardly a fair accusation taking in to account the travelling costs - why not point the finger at low take ups for other league games instead.

So should I be allowed double points for every home game I attend?
No
& I dont ask for such.
