I can see the day coming when I get a letter from the club saying 'It's not you, It's me. I think we should have some time apart' while all the time I know that they've found a new lover.
The times that I came away from the ground depressed and angry under Pearce were for football reasons, but last night was something new, a different feeling and not one that I felt was healthy. I am worried about how this will end but my immediate thoughts are that next seasons seasoncard renewal is now under a sever period of debate and internal angst as to whether to bother or not. Or should I just let the club move inevitably to it's new partner who can give it so much more financially than I can.
Having said all that - still can't wait for Norwich away over Christmas. And those feelings of excitement and anticipation I think I will cherish even more now having seen what's coming on the horizon.
Oh, and on a final note to the fellow poster on here who accused me of being 'Bernard Manning-esque' when I expressed these opinions to them at the game last night - see, I'm not the only one!
ps: The flaky pie was shite. Sort it out City!
Apologies .......I've always fancied her though. Hope she didn't notice me stalking her and taking photos. I also took some photos in the ground too.
What a fucking tourist (stalker) I am.

You're right mate. That's exactly what I said. People who take a camera to a match are all johnny come lately glory hunters, so I must have been talking about you. Well spotted.

I'm afraid we may become what we dread, and used to take the piss out of!

This bloke walked past with his kid and started berating us because we were the new breed of fans because we were paying for our tickets on credit card rather than cash on the turnstile. The term 'yuppy cvnts' (among others) springs to mind. He was totally serious, which made his rant all the more amusing, as if possessing a credit card made you some sort of establishment figure.
I wonder what he now makes of modern football.
