Missing City fan Brian Slater from Middleton

Does anyone know if he has a son called Brian? And in fact a young grandson called Brian too? I know a City fan Brian Slater III from Middleton but I don't know his dad

His son is called Michael, his Daughter is called Charlotte

I am sorry to report that a body has been found in a River, no confirmation yet that it is Brian but having spoken to other Blues in the last few minutes it seems that it could be, i'm devastated, I have known him for over 45 years, we used to go everywhere together
God bless you Brian you were a true Blue and fearless as a lion, you will be sadly missed by your legion of friends from the 70s and 80s

Didn't know him personally (Born in 95) but can see he was obviously a top blue and well respected from other fans. Thoughts with all those affected :(.

Im sure I must know you bluemoonbaz and you blue underpants . obviously dont regonise your user name on blue moon. I knnew brian more from the early eighties my brother knocked around with himin the 70s. It seems not to many people on bluemoon really know him, but on facebook there is a massive tribute to him from scores of the old lads and lads who know of him, his daughter can be sure of one thing there will be a big turn out for him at his funeral to give him a good send off.

Sorry to say don't know him but from the tributes on here he must have been quite a character.

Feel for the family that whilst one chapter is now closed, I guess it must raise more questions than answers.

Really terrible news,I hoped for the best and that he would turn up after just going on a jaunt somewhere,awful thing to have happened to one of City's old boys who was well thought by a lot of the lads! RIP Brian
