R.I.P. Brian and condolences to his family. Remember him well from the 70`s, he was one you really wanted on your side. The Friday night coaches down to London from aytoun street, just crazy. Used to go after the Cyprus or some other club had closed. Great times, if a bit hairy at times. Brian, scotty daffy and loads of other characters, all great Blues then and now.
Our red bretheren who Brian knew..and fought lol....are deeply shocked as well and have sent their condolences, that's the standing Brian had, respect to them
Well bri may be gone but I will never forget the old days and the fun we had in the 70,S/80s
to all the lads from the old days bri daughter wants everyone to turn out so as soon as I get the details I will post or you can pm me

Im sure I must know you bluemoonbaz and you blue underpants . obviously dont regonise your user name on blue moon. I knnew brian more from the early eighties my brother knocked around with himin the 70s. It seems not to many people on bluemoon really know him, but on facebook there is a massive tribute to him from scores of the old lads and lads who know of him, his daughter can be sure of one thing there will be a big turn out for him at his funeral to give him a good send off.

Cheers mate that's great to hear can you point me in the direction of the Facebook tribute

Sorry to say don't know him but from the tributes on here he must have been quite a character.

Feel for the family that whilst one chapter is now closed, I guess it must raise more questions than answers.

RiP

Really terrible news,I hoped for the best and that he would turn up after just going on a jaunt somewhere, awful thing to have happened to one of City's old boys who was well thought by a lot of the lads! RIP Brian
