Missing Girl found, bloke arrested.

I don't understand why this has had the national coverage that it's had? For me, it's unsavoury and the girl's friends say that she is shy, reserved etc. I'm not suggesting he is a predator, maybe he is, but he strikes me as being highly immature.

Maybe he has a sinister side that is being kept out of the media to warrant such a blanket coverage?

Not really, I've been through the 15 year old daughter stage, and to a degree been there done that.
I dont think you have been through what this girls parents have
You may feel dif if you had.
Look can I just make it clear, once and for all, I DO NOT support the teacher, he's got it badly wrong because of the position he was in, but like Rascal points out, "love" is not black and white, even if you know its wrong sometimes you can't help it.

I have no idea of his feelings for her, or hers for him, that's for them to decide, but the law was broken in that he took her without consent, AND he abused his trust if he allowed a relationship (even if still platonic at this stage) to develop.

If you read my post (quoted) you might see what I'm actually saying, "to a degree been there done that".
You go around the houses like others on here
At the end of the day he should and will be going to prison for the abduction of a child..
And its as simple as that..

Keeping in line with the very interesting History thread I'd of shot him with my Flintlock Musketoon.
