We’re currently watching one of two scenarios play out.

Scenario one is that Lancashire Police are massively out of their depth and made a total hash of this from the moment they were made aware of Nicola’s disappearance.

Scenario two is that they’re playing a game of 4D chess and know significantly more than they’ve let on while they do what they need to do to make arrests and/or secure her return.

I’m very much hoping (and believe) it’s scenario two playing out and people need to let them do their job without berating them for not accepting the help of this expert - or acting on the hunch of some other expert - who does not have the full picture.
