Missus brought a bird home last night

My dad once rescued a thrush from his garden after one of the cats got hold of it. He couldn't get it to fly and it looked in a bad way. After a few hours he put it into a box and took it to a local bird sanctuary charity who said it'll cost a tenner donation.

Just after handing over the money, he just had time to see the bird hop out of the box, stretch its wings, flap them a few times, then fly off into the distance without a problem.

He didn't feel it was right to ask for his money back.

Most birds die of shock and the ones that don't just need somewhere quiet and safe to gather their wits,it's always worth giving them a couple of hours and leaving them alone to recover or die whichever

Once shot of the noisy bastards.Knocked it out of the tree so I went over and despatched it against a wooden post. Dropped it in the wheely bin and went shopping. Came back, up the drive and the hard bastard is strutting up the drive like he owned the place then flew off. I had some wierd dreams after that.

Pissing myself! That is just so true of them! They perch, make that foul sound, and look at you as if to say, "Yeah? What the fuck you looking at mate?"

I agree, but I preferred my response when he told me. Howls of laughter and "you dickhead".

stick the bastard in a larson trap and when other magpies come to attack it shoot them
