Mixed race players

I don't think it's unique to footballers - I'd hazard a guess that many mixed race people will have been on the end of discrimination in much the same way as black people and as a result tend to identify more with the "black viewpoint" for want of a better phrase.

That's a fair point well made.

Exactly. Someone who is only half black doesn't get half the discrimination of someone who has two black parents. It makes sense for anyone who is likely to be subject to racial discrimination to belong to a group helping victims of it.

Nothing to do with football or football players. Bob Marley - white father, black mother considered himself black. Obama has a white mother and black father considers himself black. I consider myself black as well even though my one parent is white. Its neither here nor there really, just personal preference really.

Apparently mixed race is un PC these days it's dual nationality!! My wife who is half Arabic half English said what a load of bollocks that is.
How can it be dual nationality if both your parents are British?

If Rio didn't have afro style hair I'd think he would be 100% white. He would have loved to have played Lloyd in corrie a few weeks ago he could cry and play the race card, the thick camel chewing ****

I think the correct PC phrase is mixed or dual heritage. Which sounds to me like the offspring of a dustbinman and a duke's daughter. Mind you, PC phrasing changes every so often just to keep us all on our toes.

Who gives a fuck? Fucking colour of people doesn't make a jot of difference you absolute fool

I didn't say it mattered you ignoramus. I was merely asking out of curiosity why Wio sees himself as black when he in fact isn't.

Simply because historically white people considered them as being more black than white but is this the most pointless discussion ever, who cares. Rio is tw*t his colour is irrelevant.
