Mixed teams could it/ will it happen

Doubt it, the genetics are too heavily weighted in favour of the lads. How many women would make it into the average XI? 1? Not enough. Can't think of a mixed sex sport where there isn't some form of handicap.
exactly, the reason here will never be for anything sexist, or any politically incorrectness you could dream up.
this question reminds of an interview of John McEnroe by a what I'll just say as an ill-informed? uneducated? starry-eyed? female reporter.
They were talking about Serena Williams and John said that she was the greatest female player of all time.
The reporter basically said, "female? why isn't she the greatest tennis player of all time?"
John said something like that if Serena was on the men's tour she wouldn't be in the top 700.
loads of in the know agreed and he wouldn't, rightly so with all due respect, apologize.
that's the reality of the differences.
regardless of skill level, woman playing 90 minutes at pace in the premier league against men?
not gonna happen.

It worked fine for the soccer aid game, the women held their own,it'll never happen in the prem because the FOC's in the suits wouldn't let it,several of our womens team could play with us,it won't happen anyway, too much misogine(sp) to let it happen

Several of our Women's team could play with us?

You can't be serious, lol.

Horse shit the women could play with our men and it’s misogyny :-)

they couldnt compete against men at that physical level,'''but''' it would not surprise me in the slightest if the FA or whoever brings in a rule sometime that every side must include 2/3 woman in the starting 11
i agree and these are the kinds of scenario's you should not bring up cus someone is gonna get wind of it and the bright idea that this should be pursued in the interest of gender fairness and challenge it. which brings me to a quote that I've heard "political correctness is not a substitute for common sense"

Honest question here Take the best women’s team in the world what level of English football would they hold their own?
IMHO Conference would just be about right

To answer the OP Never

I’d be very surprised by that

They wouldn't even get into the semi-pro leagues; North West Counties etc...

Plenty of fit amateur teams would also beat them/give them a game.

The physical difference is just far too great in football/most sports.

Will never happen.

The best women's national teams struggle to compete with 15-16 year old lads, the strength and speed difference, it's like watching a different sport.
Are 15 year old lads stronger and faster than full time women pro athletes who presumably benefit from the finest sports science available ?

Is there any sport where women would beat men? For football no woman's team would beat any professional man's team. That being the case there's no argument for mixed teams.

Ask yourself this;

Of all the issues in the world, is segregation of gender in professional sport really worth discussing?

For fuck sake give it a rest

Yes is the simple answer, even at that age lads have started to physically develop beyond women.

Women's 100m world record is 10.49 set in the 80's (& heavily suspected to be illegal; too much of a tail wind), current 100m runners, not really close to it. They would have all had access to the finest sports science available.

15-16 year old males at the top of their age groups regularly run under 10.50, in fact the record is around 10.15-10.20 (can't find the actual record but can find plenty of times like it), most of these males wouldn't have had access to the top sports scientists, maybe some sports science though.

Not sure about them regularly running anywhere near 10.50

At the 2018 youth olympics only 4 men ran sub 10.50

The UK U17 record for 100m is 10.42
