Yeah agreed, that’s probably why urban genie stopped replying, I don’t think he was aware that he included examples where men ran further distances or threw heavier frisbees.

It has been recorded in athletics swimming and weightlifting, that all women’s World Records are only at around 90% of all men’s World Records (they vary from around 88%-92%, with a mean and a median of just about 90%).

In that 10% difference are many many male athletes swimmers and weightlifters who have times or weights above the women’s WR that would mean if the sports were mixed no women would ever even qualify for heats in any tournaments and would be competed by men only.

No matter how much equality people want, physically (size, speed, strength, power, spring, endurance, VO2 max, anaerobic threshold etc.) and most probably skilfully, speed of thought and proprioception... there would just be far too many top level men in any sport for women to break in.
 
Never , i do now watch the higher profile women games , there are some very clever an skilful players but their is a vast difference in the physicality between mens and womens football , not putting womens football down , it used to be a slow and ponderous spectacle but it has improved ten fold in recent years and is a decent watch at times.

To be fair there are few activities that women are much better at from a “physical” perspective. One example, interestingly enough for both in-cockpit and drones, is piloting aircraft, particularly combat aircraft.

And there are a few sport where they are equal to men currently (or are catching up now). They are mostly time/distance sport, rather than direct competition sport, of course.

I am not saying football is yet one of them, but men don’t necessarily dominate every physical activity.

Sorry Karen but soccer aid?!? No disrespect but the best women’s teams would get destroyed against decent semi-pro sides. City women vs city men would be ridiculous. Why would anybody want it to happen?
