MLB 2025

A perk in the deal that might have clinched it was the Mets (Steve Cohen) agreed to give him a box for free. Not sure what they are for the season but they can be $4,000-$5,000 per game. Obviously you are going to get a break in that if you buy it for the season or a partial. There are 81 home games.

In the past Derek Jeter paid for his own box and now Aaron Judge pays for his. I am sure they get a break.

The guy is making a shit ton of money dip into your own pocket you primma Donna!!

Soto has an “op out” after 5 years just like he did after this season. Hopefully the Mets win it all once, Soto does well, Boras will pimp him out again so the Mets can fuck him off. Knowing the way Cohen has ran the team I doubt it. Money is no object and the team always gets burned by these long term deals at the back end…

@buckshot all joking aside its bloody crazy money can the Mets and baseball clubs keep making these crazy contracts :-(
It's impossible for normal people to come close to realizing how rich the uber-wealthy really are. They can splash out money like that over 15 years and not even think about it. The system is so rigged in their favor that even if something goes wrong and they end up losing billions the government will bail them out.

Where and when is the best time to buy tickets I’m in New York for the Yankees Baltimore game in June, Ticketmaster have them for sale with varying prices in the gods for around $44 Amy ideas what’s the view like from there or could spend double and be about half way down. What are the bleachers like?

The view from the bleachers isn't bad as YS is a relatively compact stadium, but you shouldn't have any trouble buying on game day, and I would be pretty confident you can get better seats for $44 that morning/afternoon if you're comfortable waiting.

Cheers pal that’s what we are going to do

I don't know if this helps, but anyway. We last went to NYC in 2011. Saw 5 games at YS. Each time, we bought 7 tickets on Stubhub on the day of the game. Bleacher seats. They were $4 each, lol. The fees were almost as much. About $46 for all of us, IIRC. Just used the hotel internet and printer.

In the stadium, we could move around. I remember standing in the concourse behind home plate, seeing Mariano Rivera close a game.

It was hot. Sweltering.

Off to Miami for a week - Marlins away. Then up to Boston for week and Red Sox play Yankees so hoping to get a game

Watching Mets v Marlins and the Marlins have been shockingly bad defensively, even given the very windy conditions, basically gifting us bases and runs.

But just seen one of the best, bases loaded, catches, I've ever seen by The Marlin's RF Derek Hill.

He probably should've been in a better position to start with tbh, but wow. That was some catch!

That Hill catch was pretty insane, has to be down as top catch of the year.

Seen him pull off numerous dive catches in the past n also can't forget last year against the Twins the catch he made where he ended up turning it into a kind of breakdance handstand thang just short of going the whole hog n do a head spin (he didn't actually spin on his head, mind!)

Some of the maneuvers he pulled off as a Ranger n as a Giant were like he has rubber bones.
Never seen his Tigers stuff.

Giving little leaguers more to dream about...

Took a weeks holiday in SoCal last week and got to see the Guardians lose in San Diego and win in Anaheim. Two stadiums I’d never done before, so I’m halfway there in MLB having now been to 15. I’ll see some other road games this season at Detroit (which we do every year), Cincinnati and Pittsburgh, although they’re all stadiums I’ve done before.
