The fact that Timbers get to play the final at home on their shite plastic turf 43 hours away from New York is one thing.

That ref turned into a PL ref for the last 10 minutes there. No fouls shall be given for anyone fouling a player in blue.

If that defender had simply played it inside to the open man instead of swinging a leg at it….
The ref hasn’t given 50% of the fouls, and there’s no way he disallows that goal…in Portland…with the game on National TV…and the home crowd…and…
NYC look dead on their feet and have done all defensive subs, while Portland has an ultra attacking team on the field.
Looks like this is only going to end in tears for City at this point.
