MLS / New York City thread

Seemed as though the commentator was under obligation to call them NYCFC.
Perhaps some copyright?

I was at the game. I live around the corner from Gillette Stadium. Gutted for the Revs to be honest. That three week enforced break screwed their rhythm up big time. But NYCFC outplayed them on the night and deserve to go through. Not impressed with their diving and play-acting though...but they played some nice stuff. City-lite at times.

Will be cheering for them now - well they are my second team over here of course with the City connection. Seen them when they had David Villa, Lampard, Angelino etc and Vieira as manager some years ago. Castellanos will be a loss but they are a solid team who could absolutely win this whole thing.

Fucking Revs...again...

I meant to have tagged you in my op asking if you were there. What was the attendance? Good to see the Fort packed! But yes it was a ridiculous amount of time between last game of the season and their first play off game.
