Moaning City fans...

The booing immediately after the fulltime whistle came through clear as can be on the international TV coverage.

I'm as frustrated and worried about where this team is heading as anyone, but I wish people wouldn't resort to that.

The different perspectives are interesting though, some seem to believe booing and slagging the team is productive, while others think negative comments on an internet forum unsettle the team. I think the reality is somewhere in between.

i was in east stand level 1 didn't hear any booing was it just colin bell stand then, won't go down as greatest derby game ever but there weren't no booing round us.
East level 3 some pillocks booing near me at full time but there is more day trippers up there than anything, the other thing was the atmosphere it had to be the worst ever for a derby match, when are our fans going to get behind the team if you sing some of the twats where I am look at you as if you are a fucking alien that's just landed maybe if we showed some passion the players might respond and show some too

I had a few people near me who I've never seen before and I pray to God I never see again. What they collectively knew about football in general, let alone tactics, positioning and moves, could be written on the back of a stamp. They were stamping their feet like a spoilt child not getting its own way and a few of them did boo at full-time. Me and my brother sat there in disbelief and just laughing. On the way home I could hear people moaning about how they want their money back and refuse to pay to watch the team agian in the future. Please do refuse to pay in future if it means I don't have to listen to your negative and worthless shite that spills out of your mouths. Yes we were poor but so were United. Yes they were there for the taking but so were we when you look at the game. A point is better than none and we're still in the top 4 and will remain there no matter what happens this weekend. Personally, I think we'll stick 3 or 4 past Birmingham.

Never heard the boo's myself. There is a lad behind me and he was giving Boateng a right roasting, I just don't understand how hurling abuse at our own players is good. I was getting frustrated by the match, but I'll never resort to abusing our own players or manager.

What's wrong with booing after a shite performance like that. I booed them off coz they were shite and the manager needs to go. We played the worst Utd team for years and went out for a draw. Manchini was pleased with the game saying we are getting closer to them. We are getting worse and so are they.
If you were happy with that performance it doesn't take a lot to mplease you. If you are not you have a right to boo AFTER the game ( not during) to let your feelings be known.
Apart from Liverpool and Chelsea we have been shite all season, Manchini is far too negative in all games.

If being shite is two points off third and five points ahead of Tottenham then I'd take it to be fair.

At least get his name right if you're going to have a moan.

Are you happy with how we are playing? Not winning games that are there to be won?

for those of you who didn't hear booing, well regrettably there was
especially in the east stand where i am.
i sort of understand it owing to the nature of the game.
its not something i ever do but i get the frustrations.

He doesn't deserve to get his name right.

Here's a tip for you - no team wins every single game. Start from that perspective and you may start to see the bigger picture.

Broadly I am happy. We are in the top 4 with breathing space, and right on the tails of 2nd and 3rd and that's without having our most explosive player on hand the entire season, or Kolarov, a crucial piece of the puzzle who will always provide a dangerous outlet wide left. Something we have also lacked.

The season is 12 games in. I've seen some great performances (Liverpool, Chelsea, West Brom), dropped points in games we definitely should have won (Blackburn), picked up the spoils when perhaps we were fortunate to (Blackpool), and settled for a draw when a defeat would have been disastrous (United). Every fan of every club would say exactly the same thing.

For all the plaudits Arsenal get, they've lost two at home and frequently get dicked on by Chelsea and United. At the very least, this just doesn't happen to us anymore so it's progress in what is ultimately a long term goal of getting us to the very top.

With Balo and Kolarov, and perhaps a ball playing CM this January I'm pretty excited as to the potential of the side Mancini is building. Solid, hard to beat, with creativity and explosiveness. The kind of side that tends to win things.

Of course theres going to be an element of frustration but to boo is ridiculous. We were playing against a top side, a side who are extremely hard to beat. Some of the people behind me in 110 are getting worse with each game, they're like spoilt brats who don't they they're own way. How dare we pass the football sideways or backwards, how dare Mancini not play with two strikers and start Adam Johnson

Footballs not as easy as saying we should attack them and doing it, you have to appreciate how well set up the other side are at times and to be fair to United they were set up to make it difficult for us to get in behind and they did that very well

Well I'm glad you're happy footballs a game of opinions, you've got yours I've got mine. 2 players do not make a team. I hope we are still in the top 4 come May, I can't see it, but I hope I'm wrong.
Mancini has built a solid hard to beat team but we lack in creativity. How can you spend £100 million and miss 2 players. We miss a decent manager who wants to win games not a manger who plays not to get beat.
