The sites in Cornwall, where friends live, and have for generations, and 4 known local sites to Southampton, are all either single or double vans....not bungalows at all, just cladded. They have never depreciated when sold, they are the same as the local house prices, up and down in line. In Cornwall the nearest shops are within a mile, the local ones (all different parts of Southampton) are within residential areas, not miles from a shop, or anything else at all. Maybe you've been looking in the wrong place?until it's sold to a private equity fund based in the Cayman isles/IoM/offshored. In 2016, the same line was being peddled that "MP's are on the case, the rogue site-owners will be dealt with"....The opposite happened. Having looked at residential sites, aimed at retired downsizers, rather than someone just looking for short-term breaks, the properties are more like wooden bungalows than a big caravan, but very often miles from a shop, a factor when driving is no longer an option and public transport in rural areas is as good as dead. Residential sites are not dependent/tempted by the massive mark-up selling new vans 100+% so have no incentive to evict residents who pay on time and dont cause trouble unlike the leisure parks...At the end of the day, buying a static in a place you like is fine, as long as you know the depreciation will be eye-watering, and any sureties and leases are not worth the paper they are printed on
It’s rolling 90 days, you can’t do 3 months come back fir 3 then go back out, you’d have to do 3 months then spend 6 months here before doing another 3 rinse and repeat. If you even go for a long weekend in that 6 months it fucks it up.90 days out of 180.

No3 month visa per country isn't it.?
France have already completely rejected as illegal it as will Spain. The EU will not consider special dispensation for Brits who own homes. They may consider it if applies to all non EU homeowners. It’s rolling 90 days, you can’t do 3 months come back fir 3 then go back out, you’d have to do 3 months then spend 6 months here before doing another 3 rinse and repeat. Although France and Spain are looking at scrapping if you own a home, surprisingly they need our business.
Ahh right, didn't know that. I just presumed each country would have their own 90 day limit. No
In the Schengen area in total.
So you can do 30 days in France, do the next 30 in Germany and the next 30 in Croatia.
Then you’d have to leave the EU.
