I rediscovered Play by Moby last week which, in my humble opinion, was one of the true great albums of the 1990’s. Such an unlikely star.

Did he record anything prior or after that’s worth a go? I can’t see that one topped but anything a bit more raw might be interesting.

Prior he’s done loads of dance stuff which some of it is really good and heavy.
After Play he did ‘18’ and ‘Hotel’ - some well known pop songs on these and I enjoyed both records although they got a bit slaughtered by the critics.
Think he just does ambient stuff nowadays.
