I rediscovered Play by Moby last week which, in my humble opinion, was one of the true great albums of the 1990’s. Such an unlikely star.

Did he record anything prior or after that’s worth a go? I can’t see that one topped but anything a bit more raw might be interesting.

Never got the Moby/Fatboy Slim wave back then, they just took hip hop and introduced it to a wider audience. There was better stuff around then, AV8 Records, Shoot Tha Pump and obviously DJ Shadow. Go is a fucking choon though, I dunno why but I always associate it with Manchester.
