Depends. If City win the league, obviously modern football is ruined.

We may have to wait until the 38th league game of the season to find out sometimes, even into the last few seconds of the season, but that's what I am told.

Also infested with anti competitive behavior from clubs who have far too much influence over the sport.

I'd also say over sensationalized, but that is more of a media thing anyway. When you look at sky trying their best to turn football into a pantomime or a WWE narrative, it's pretty frustrating. Aside from how great and wonderful City are, modern football is largely shite.

1. Some players are on far far too much money, relative to their actual ability and experience level.
2. Lack of genuine global superstars compared to what there once was even as recent as the 2000's.
3. The cost of being a fan is outrageous. Average working class is completely priced out of attending games, making way for more and more tourists
4. Clubs now only really care about the tourists as it means £££.
5. VAR IS FUCKING AWFUL. Football matches are now becoming less about the football and more about the pantomime style entertainment.
6. Standard of refereeing is bloody awful, verging on corrupt.
7. social media 'experts', ex footballers with about 5 brain cells being paid to analyse games.
8. toxicity throughout football fanbases brought upon by social media
9. the political correctness where we now have to have at least 1 woman pundit or presenter on every game. Put it this way, 90% arent there for their expert insight and knowledge.

In our darkest days I never thought of missing a game live if posssible
I watched other teams games if we were not on and other leagues with interest.
tried to get any WC or euros game watched.

Now
gonna drop the cup schemes after this year, can see on telly and midweeks at 8pm are becoming a chore with work, if a holiday is more affordable in the season will go and watch the game on telly.
Not arsed about most other teamsgames or leagues.
WC and euros can take or leave.

Modern football is making me more apathetic due to shit rules, shit ko times, shit officiating and shit coveragefrom the "experts"
