Modern game annoyances.

what annoys me is when a goalkeeper is sent off they bring on the sub keeper. the rule should be if the keeper is sent off, then a outfield player should go in goal

Pub fans.

Twenty something. Drink bottled stella. They seem to think that watching the game every Sunday on a shit low-resolution telly whilst talking to their mates and nipping out for a fag gives them the right to pass opinion. In reality they all parrot the same, cliched second hand opinions which usually have little basis in reality.

"Garry Barry's useless. He's too slow"
"City have no team spirit. All mercenaries"
"Arsenal try to walk in in too much"

90% of these gloryfied armchair "fans" support Man United too, despite living in Heckmondwicke.
I'm one of these, though the fact I drink Stella on draught should mean I can pass opinion. ;-)

I'm sure he said 20-something Pige, therefore this excludes you.

Ahem..

Well if you still have substitutions available why wouldn't you bring a on player that is a natural goalkeeper? Why does this annoy you? Surely it's just common sense.

What happened to obstruction ? I hate it when the ball is going out for a Goal kick and the attacker is trying to stop it. The defender is allowed to ignore the ball and do an American football style blocking manoeuvre to prevent the attacker getting round.

When a throw in taker moves the ball a good 10 yards infront of where the ball went out and the ref allows him too, only for 2 mins later another player to move 2/3 yards and the ref tell him to move back. Refs fuck me off for the most part but that fucks me off no end, it should be where the ball went out and in my opinion you should only be allowed to run up to throw it side on, none of this at an angle bollocks that Stoke use (added the length of time one throw in takes!).

Players who run at players waiting for the slightest touch to throw themselves to ground, United have got it down to a tea (Januzaj and Hernandez were doing it every time they got the ball against Sunderland). It's run at the opposing player, wait for the slightest bit of contact and either jump on the ball or throwing their standing foot into the air. It's the same when they fall and cup the ball, which the ref sees as him being "forced" to give a free-kick. Needs to book a player for deliberate handball!

Well, if you call it "shepherding" obstruction becomes - Abracadabra! - a positive good: we might try this Styler Sports indoctrination technique by re-casting shirt-pulling as - Bibbidi-Bobbidi Boo! -"feeling the quality"; or elbows to the head as - Sim sala bim! - "gaining lift" or, through unceasing repetition - Hocus Pocus Alakajizzmag! - make as world class the mildly promising unproven.

An attacking player that is in control of the ball, but knows he's going nowhere with it, puts it to the side of the defending player then runs right into him and the STUPID / BLIND refs fall for it every time. WHY? WHHHHHHY?

So by that reckoning, when they send off a defender, you can't sub off a striker for another defender??

Daft.
