MoM Yaya - What a Joke

Yaya also was given the assist for SA goal.

I don't think any of our players would have taken much solace in regards to MOM.

They should all feel like they have let a large number of stakeholders down with their four efforts to date as a group.

The can get some respect back by going back to back in the league and in the immediate term ensuring we are 8 points ahead of Spurs come Sunday 6.00pm.

I dont care about the corporate bollocks that is man of the match but how the hell did Yaya get the assist for Sergio's goal?????

although he only played half the game i thought balotelli could have got it, completely changed the game for us and got an assist (his 2nd ever lol)

ESPN commentators said it was Yaya and in my defense I wasn't watching the game at the time ( only listening to it ) so while it wouldn't surprise me if they got the wrong player thats why I said Yaya.

Like you MOM means nothing to me and I suspect even less to the players unless the winner gets a night out with the wife of the owner of Reading and he cares little for what they get up to.

Zabaleta, Tevez and Aguero were the more likely candidates.

I thought Clichy was terrific. The number of times he was left isolated 2 v 1 and he recovered the situation time and time again

Was just going to say this Clichy was shattered with 10 mins to go, he was up and down that wing all night and got very little help.

Maybe that should be on offer more often , seemed to work well under Big Mal (LOL) for a while at least.

Apologies for the error but it highlights how many errors are made during a game including the commentators and they have the advantage of seeing everything unlike the refs who often through no fault of their own are not in a position to see exactly what goes on in every contest on and off the ball.

Zabaleta was our best player by far. I have no idea what happened to him over pre-season but he looks about 10 times fitter than he was last year. Amazing engine on him now.
