MoM Yaya - What a Joke

You will find that the goal scorer often gets MOM especially if it turns out to be the goal that secures victory or gets you a point.

Yaya also was given the assist for SA goal.

I don't think any of our players would have taken much solace in regards to MOM.

They should all feel like they have let a large number of stakeholders down with their four efforts to date as a group.

The can get some respect back by going back to back in the league and in the immediate term ensuring we are 8 points ahead of Spurs come Sunday 6.00pm.

I dont care about the corporate bollocks that is man of the match but how the hell did Yaya get the assist for Sergio's goal?????

although he only played half the game i thought balotelli could have got it, completely changed the game for us and got an assist (his 2nd ever lol)

balotelli..... aguerOOOO

Headed off his sconse into his path unless that was Ballotelli.

ESPN commentators said it was Yaya and in my defense I wasn't watching the game at the time ( only listening to it ) so while it wouldn't surprise me if they got the wrong player thats why I said Yaya.

Like you MOM means nothing to me and I suspect even less to the players unless the winner gets a night out with the wife of the owner of Reading and he cares little for what they get up to.

Yeah it was Balo who won the flick on mate, wasnt criticising was just wondering how anyone who had seen the goal/game had thought Yaya deserved an assist for that goal.

Haha if that was the prize id imagine we'd have more players busting a gut to win it every week :)

How do the club arrive at the Man of the Match decisions because apart from his goal I thought Yaya was poor last night as he has been for most of the season.

Zabaleta, Tevez and Aguero were the more likely candidates.

And we can now see why Mancini wanted De Rossi because Garcia is frankly out of his depth.

It's done by way of a complicated mathematical formula laid down by Einstein the year City first won the FA Cup. Too complicated for us mere Platinum fans to understand. Those in the posh seats on L2 might know

Don't know but Zabaleta was mom by a mile.
Indeed.. I love Pablo!

I thought Clichy was terrific. The number of times he was left isolated 2 v 1 and he recovered the situation time and time again
Was just going to say this Clichy was shattered with 10 mins to go, he was up and down that wing all night and got very little help.

Maybe that should be on offer more often , seemed to work well under Big Mal (LOL) for a while at least.

Apologies for the error but it highlights how many errors are made during a game including the commentators and they have the advantage of seeing everything unlike the refs who often through no fault of their own are not in a position to see exactly what goes on in every contest on and off the ball.
