All easily better than Yaya last night, some of the MOTM's at City this season have been bizarre.

I thought Clichy was terrific. The number of times he was left isolated 2 v 1 and he recovered the situation time and time again

Was just going to say this Clichy was shattered with 10 mins to go, he was up and down that wing all night and got very little help.

Totally agree ran himself into the ground tracking back, closing players down and trying to start attacks, was my MOM last night.

Yaya for me gets away with being defensively abject for a lot of the time due to a few crucial goals.

The times play bypasses him in midfield whilst he does his "I'm knackered" jog are numerous. Sometimes the oppo is only a few yards away.

Vinny looks World Class, Zaba solid and Nastasic looks good to me too. Plays well without doing nothing flash. Looks a cool customer and dove tales well with Vinny

Isn't it usually selected by the sponsors? The winner then goes to meet them in order to collect his prize. So MotM is usually just which ever player the sponsors want to have a photo opportunity with.

I'm surprised the sponsors see enough of a match to even choose a motm.
