Watching the Fulham game on Bein Sports. At HT Ruud Gullit revealed to Keys and Grey, that UEFA had been consulting with ex players about improving the Champions League. On the Zoom call were Gullit, Luis Figo and David James amongst others. He couldn't reveal the changes expected to be made but he said it wasn't fair Holland didn't have 4 qualifiers same as Italy and Spain
He could only reveal that there would be less meaningless games and it would head off a Super League.
I wouldn't expect it to be champions only but the only way to make it more competitive/ have more meaningful games is to reduce the number of teams
