Just biked back from my local as I normally do and almost had a head on with a moose. She ( i'm guessing) appeared through the darkness, we finally saw each other, she veered off, ran right through someone's fence and somehow disappeared.
Made it home and I've got ten Mule deer in my back yard, what was that Stephen King book where the animals all started coming out of the wilderness? it's here! be scared people, the end is nigh!

If only the fence would have contained her we could have been on the same page, not many four legged friends I haven't gotten really close to :-)

I saw a moose and its fawn (is that correct?) on the trail from Estes Park CO. to Grand Lake. They are huge animals.

I also saw a bunch of tourists getting out of their car and venturing down an incline towards a herd of bison. I thought I was about to witness natural selection
