I have no sympathy at all for criminals whatever the age it's the victims of their crimes that should get the sympathy of society, it's sad that young lives are being wasted by gang mentality but they are robbing and stabbing each other and innocent people. I haven't got a solution other than lock them all up and that obviously isn't the solution. We have brought up and enabled a set of complete twats IMO they want something for nothing and they don't care who they hurt to get it.

This is different to the original post. That was about police knocking them off their mopeds after a robbery. In this instance someone decided he wasn't going to stop so rode away, whilst doing so he crashed. If he gets a second chance, perhaps next time he will stop. You have to allow the police to chase criminals otherwise they know that if they drive/ride fast the police will stop chasing them but that simply puts the public at risk due to the increased speed and recklessness of the rider/driver.
