More, or less confident of winning the league after today?

... On the bright side, at least your competing for the title year in year out aye? Guanteed champions league football every year.

We lost it weeks ago. Nothing new about yesterday. Chelsea have a stroll.

Well said mate, although nothing is guaranteed, of course.

Yesterday was wank, but following City has been great fun for the last six years and I expect that state of affairs to continue. Some people seem to decreasingly enjoy what the takeover has brought, which is a shame.

York away isn't directly relevant, but it should still give some of our supporters a degree of perspective that they currently lack. When the takeover happened I promised myself that if it turned out as I hoped it would, that I would enjoy what it brought as much as I could. I also recognised that it wouldn't all be plain sailing; life never is.

I think, in the main, I've kept that promise to myself. Following City these last few years has been fucking amazing and there's nothing that finishing third and plotless this season will do to alter that view.

Fans of pretty much any other club in the land would swap places with us right now. People should remember that.

Your point is very well made. But, when an Oldham supporter uses a Blue's spare ticket and points out all the faults that have been pointed out all season (e.g. trying to pass into the net, corners, etc.) it gets a bit tiring.

I'd rather go back to the days of encouraging a player because he doesn't know better than slating a player because he does know better but can't be arsed in playing basic football.

Following City is great all those ups and downs made me feel alive !

We always dream of being were we are now and i still cant believe it i must have played that Agueroooooooo goal back a thousand times and every time i thought he would miss !

In a funny way i miss old City but i wouldnt swap this new City for the old City , old City is our heritage so if we have a 'poor' season so be it , its still better than old City, Our owners will put things right in the summer the future is bright and i am loving it

We're only seven points behind Chelsea but we're also only seven points ahead of Arsenal in sixth place. The way we've played in the last five matches, excepting the Chelsea match, gives me no condidence that we'll be runners up let alone champions at the end of the season.

we caught arsenal and overtook them this time last season, then we overhauled Chelsea's 8 point lead after they had beaten us this very weekend last year, then we overtook Liverpool at the death, alas that was last season and realistically Chelsea are much improved this season and sadly as much as I dislike mourinho i think they will drop very few points this time around, but we fight to the end.

Agreed but no bite in our " fight ".

Stoke is MP's watershed game , I think his fate is already sealed but if we don't win this game its definitely over for us and for MP.
