More penalties awarded for holding in the box this season*

Half the players in pen area will be screaming falling over! Agree with the fake diving clamping down on but if a players holds his head even though it doesn’t look like the player been hit on the head the referee will still blow his whistle to stop player because referee can chance it that it could be serious! So we will still get players holding there head to waste time stop play!

Notice the word IMPACTFUL.

When Haaland is wrestled and man handled every game I will guarantee the official will say "he wasn't involved with the play" or the ball wasn't reaching him.

Then we will see united get a pen for a small arm on the shoulder of one of their players who will go down as if a sniper has expertly shot him.

If I've read it correctly, the ref will now call on the medical staff who will take the player off the field and they can't come back on until treated and/or 30 seconds has elapsed. So that should stop some of it

Playing 30 seconds with 10 men when you are organised is still better than having the ball ricocheting in your own area and potentially creating a chance.

Make it 2 mins and it might stop it more.

Think it's added incentive for City not to give away corners. But we know Haaland will not get the benefit of the doubt.
