This student stereotype is ridiculous. I worked hard at school whilst a lot of my mates pissed about, therefore left with 8 A's 3 A*'s GCSE's and 4 A's at A-Level. I do a history degree aswell as work in a bar and earn about £150 a week. i dont ask for anything off my parents and hope to go into either teaching, journalism or military intelligence all which you need a degree to do. Anyone that thinks uni is a complete non-stop piss-up is seriously deluded. Bills, non-stop essay deadlines, living in shocking accomodation, dealing with scum of the earth estate agents. And yet some cocky twat living at home with mummy and daddy doing an aprrenticship in wood cutting or whatever seems to take the moral highground.
I like you.

Loved it at school and really wanted to do it as a career, unfortunately I was stuck in a shit class with an even shitter fresh out of uni teacher. She got bullied we all learnt fuck all. Got an A in my mock then ended up with a E in the test because we got taught the wrong stuff!!
Fair do's, plenty of time left if you decide to go back to education though mate, it's always an option if nothing else.
It's just stupid of some people to be banging on about 'students' when they are a very diverse bunch from all backgrounds and of differing ages. It's like me saying 'Oh, all welders are dicks and blah blah blah', it's untrue and makes me look an anus.
