I can see the positives in buying MGW, even though he wouldn't have been top of my list. However, I mostly trust the guys making the decisions and basically just want us to get whoever we go for. If we want MGW I want us to get him, and see how he does.

I certainly don't want him to end up at Arsenal and us go for a backup option. God knows who that would be.

Tbh I think he would prefer us to Arsenal, just think it's been in the works longer and he'll be set on us. Hopefully.

people said the same when it was suggested we promote trafford and not buy ortega, the lad was primed to be 2nd choice and slowly become 1st xhouc when necessary, thw same could be said of Spike if we buy Costa

Better to trust those that delivered multiple trophies and records, built and rebuilt winning teams over the years than some blokes sat on the internet wouldn’t you ?
Unless you are one of those that believe after one poor ish season we are now suddenly run by idiots, there are a fair few of those around it must be said.

Yes, agree, especially with exciting players like Nico, Mcatee.
I am not one to turn on Pep for one bad season marred with injuries and bad luck, but I really wish he would reserve fringe spots on the squad for up and coming City youth and give them more chances.
 
Seen MGW a few times lately and been quite impressed. So far today his touch is scruffy and he's one footed. Trying to do things quicker than he's capable of and messing them up.

Worst I've seen him recently. Scuffed a really good opportunity to set up a chance since I typed that too.

He's all miskicks and miscontrols today. He's not hiding though, I'll give him that.

thought that in a game the other week, that was must win. Rushing too much, seen plenty of our lads do it in the first few games when they think 'I have to be the one to do something' kinda thing
