That's not enough. Bernie and Gundo/Kova and at least 1 winger will have to go to accommodate Reijnders, Cherki and MGW.

I think Cherki kinda plays like a mixture of Bernardo and Eden Hazard.


MGW is more of a Kevin Debryne type. Not the same level but similar mindset. Results over style types that do whatever it takes.

I prefer Cherki coz he is significantly cheaper, younger and has a higher ceiling. But MGW is a bit of an enigma. I can see him being surprisingly effective.

Gibbs-White was caught speeding 6 times between December and February, and has been banned for 6 months.

I’m not a Grealish fan boy by any stretch of the imagination, but if you are comparing the two for their public behaviour, MGW doesn’t exactly have a halo round his head.

Gibbs-White can be brought in straight away. Cherki can't be registered until we get rid of an overseas player. We already have 18 in the squad, which is one too many. Add that to Reijnders, Ait-Nouri and another full back and we're having to get rid of quite a few players to make space.

That's for the Champions League. The Premier League makes no distinction between club trained and association trained.

It's also worth mentioning, to highlight the current issue, that those players started 21 league games between them this season. We're wasting so many slots on players who don't start games.

Yeah, I think it's easier to leave someone out of the CL squad though, because you can still give them plenty of game time. You could definitely leave out Carson and in the unlikely event that two keepers both get injured, give a chance to a youngster.

You don’t get a smaller squad by having two separate squads, pretty sure the final squad will comply with UEFA rules like we always have. 17 plus 4 association maybe even just 3. 2 club trained Foden and Bobb and O’Reilly and Lewis as the main U21s. A squad of 24/25

Khush, Reis, Bah and echeverri are classed as under 21, Cherki can also be registered as U21
