They all say that but when there's money dangling in front of them most will back downNewcastle aren't going to sell any of their stars to a direct rival.

They aren't going to cut their own throats for money. If they did it would be abroad. They all say that but when there's money dangling in front of them most will back down
Good thing Forrest isn't raiding them then :)Newcastle aren't going to sell any of their stars to a direct rival.
Livramento wouldn't be HG abroad, meaning his value for non-English clubs would be probably less than 50% what a Premier League side would pay for him. The premium for HG players that are actually good enough for the best teams in England is staggeringThey aren't going to cut their own throats for money. If they did it would be abroad.
It’s damage limitations for Newcastle though. They need money so will sell one player. Isak is the most in demand and would make the biggest difference to Liverpool, Chelsea or Arsenal. Livramento to us is still good money but we are after a 1st team level RB anyway and they’ll get a replacement plus a signing they want to make with the money.Newcastle aren't going to sell any of their stars to a direct rival.
If they had to choose to lose one of Isak or Livramemto, I think they would sacrifice the fullback first. It’s damage limitations for Newcastle though. They need money so will sell one player. I suppose it depends in how much Isak gets them. Ebikite is an Isak xlone. There is Sesko and Gyokeres ( whichever Arsenal doesn't get) , Guirrasay, Osihmen to name a few.If they had to choose to lose one of Isak or Livramemto, I think they would sacrifice the fullback first.
23 goals isn't easily replacable and bar posibly taking watkins from Villa or mbuemo from brentford I cannot see how they would replce Isak so easily compared to a RB
All those strikers listed could arrive and go from 20-30 goal seasons wherever to 10 goal seasons, it has happened to many before.I suppose it depends in how much Isak gets them. Im not so sure fullback is the easier get. Striker might be of greater value, but lots of strikers are available this summer.
They can still choose where they can sell to. They aren't going to cut their own throats by selling any of their top stars to clubs within the Premier League. As I said in another post we aren't going to sell any of our key playeto any of our rivals either. If we did it would be abroad. It’s damage limitations for Newcastle though. They can still refuse to sell within the Premier League. Another example is we aren't going to sell Haaland to any of our domestic rivalsThey all say that but when there's money dangling in front of them most will back down
Yeah I agree with that to some degree. Selling to Europe isn’t quite what it used to be though, who can currently afford top transfers/wages… Munich, PSG & Madrid? They can still choose where they can sell to. Whatever his level, Gibbs-White has done it in the PL. With players like Cherki and Reijnders I feel there's a reasonable risk that takes time for them to settle or that it doesn't work out and we need someone to hit the ground running. He's clearly got ability and has the energy levels and drive we so badly missed this year. Is he world class? Maybe not. Could he be? With better coaching, who truly knows. Does he need to be? How many teams in the PL top 6 or or from the CL quarter finalists, have 11 world class players they can field at the same time.... I would say none. Personally I'd be interested to see him in a City shirt, but appreciate I may be in the minority with that point of view.Looks like we are going for cherki as number 10 option.
With gibbs white having 2 years left on his deal and a couple of our older midfielders having a year left on their deals, makes sense to me to tell gibbs white to stay put for a year and if he does well again, we will come back for him next summer to replace bernardo/gundo and as he'll only have 1 year left on his deal, we should get him for a decent price.
Maybe but you never know what goes on in these boardrooms or with agents. They can still refuse to sell within the Premier League. Another example is we aren't going to sell Haaland to any of our domestic rivals

I can imagine this one being the most difficult. Forest will want a fortune and we should hold our line. If we miss out this isnt the end of the worldComes down to price for me. As long as it doesn't hinder us getting the rest of the players we need them it's worth pursuing him. But we will have a price in mind and he isn't someone to pay over the odds for.
We look at this season and see a need for more energy but energy is a basic requirement that will be addressed through younger players naturally. Skill, talent, ability and mentality are what we also need and those attributes need to be top level to deliver the success we have had before.
It looks like we're going for Reijnders and Cherki first anyway, so probably not much worry on MGW price affecting other transfers, plus after watching Khaldoon interview I'm pretty sure we've marked out who we're after and what we're prepared to pay. If it doesn't work out, we'll move to the next target.Comes down to price for me. As long as it doesn't hinder us getting the rest of the players we need them it's worth pursuing him. Judging by Khaldoons interview we'll already have marked out who we're after and how much we're prepared to pay, if a negotiation does work out we'll simply move to the next targetI can imagine this one being the most difficult. Agreed but logic tells you don't sell your better players to your immediate rivals even with their apparent financial difficulties. If anything they would sell abroad.Maybe but you never know what goes on in these boardrooms or with agents.
