Same. Just think the bridge is pretty much crossed and it's burning behind him.

There's still a good player there, but it's for nothing if he's mentally in a thousand places at once.
 
I have changed my mind. I judged him too harshly. He’s acc pretty good. I like that he has the heart to press, run a lot, cross really well, he’s decent at dribbling. His connection with Chris Wood is great. I pray he can do that with Haaland. We need him for quite a lot of reasons
1. Homegrown. In 2 seasons Grealish, Stones, Walker, Ake, and possibly Lewis will be gone.
2. He will help us in transition and be more direct and faster.
3. Has the ability to just put a ball in without looking like Kev used to do.

I like MGW, but he is a £40m player max.

MGW has boxed himself in at Forest because they paid £42m for him with a 10% sell on clause to Wolves so even if Forest got £60m for him they would only be making £14m on him.

It’s a lot of money yes but Is there any other English player we can sign that will improve us ? I can’t think of many. Aina isn’t good. Wharton would cost the same and we don’t need him since we have Rejinders. Braithwaite is just as injury prone as Ake and Stones. Who else is there Bowen ?

Tino Livramento would be a fantastic signing in a much needed position.

Would rather him than Gibbs-White - although I’m not totally against the latter.

I could see him working pretty well alongside players like Cherki and Reijnders, where we’re not relying on him to generate all our creativity.

Still want Vanderson tho but we need homegrown players. My issue is MGW and Livra could cost like 70 mil pounds each which is egregious. Could get Vanderson, Aina, and find some English back up GK for less combined … but it’s not my money.

Also feel like the club is saving money for someone big idk

If Grealish could only get two or three appearances in midfield during this season where we've been absolutely torched at times, he's probably not going to get any more opportunities there with new players coming in. That's also assuming he's even here next season, which he most likely isn't. For Kova, I'd rather someone 5 years younger, homegrown and less prone to the odd bozo moment.
 
I get the need for homegrown players but why not sign someone much cheaper that can be rotational player? Gibbs White is fine talent but hard to see him more than that. He is not a starter that can win you Champions League and that's the goal.

I think so , although I’m not quite as sure we now spend that on him with others that seem to be closer to signing and we spend the money on a homegrown fullback. Other than Livremento not sure who. But then I’ve always thought we get 2 midfielders and 2 fullbacks and are done other than keepers. Maybe it will be more than 2 midfielders.

Like who mate ? Wharton would cost the same and he’s defensive minded.
