We simply cannot hinder the progress of O'reilly and Bobb by signing another midfielder. They'll struggle to get the game time they deserve as it is.

I'm stating facts that Liverpool eased up when the job was done, so they would have got more points than us in this pie in the sky "annual table" too if they really needed the points.

What i would caveat with mo salah and van dijk not slowing down is that we have seen it with our own players that when that fall off comes it does not come gradually it happens very very quickly so while he may not look like he is slowing down our own experience shows us that they can hit the wall fast.
