Thats a bit harsh. As the season progressed he improved and was clearly ahead of Lewis by the end of it. Clearly not world class but has shown he can put in a shift. He would be perfect backup to a new RB. Lewis should be loaned or sold.

I can`t believe some of the shite I`m reading on this thread, seriously !!
City are NOT a two bit club with no experience in transfer matters, but an excellent well run Club with some of the most influential people in world football.
You honestly believe that we are likely to end up with a 32/34 squad ? Not a cat in hells chance unless you want to piss Pep off and I`m certain thats the last thing the club want.
Lets not pretend that we will not be shifting a fair few on,in the next 5/6 weeks.
I for one am very confident in the professional manner in which the club operates.
Off course we get things wrong, even in the transfer market, but show me a club thats doesn`t.

He has a secret release clause. Agent wasn’t supposed to tell anyone about it. Levy found out so bid the exact amount to activate it, forest owner is pissed off as that clause was supposed to be secret and he wanted more for Gibbs white, Forest now refusing to adhere to the release clause, instead taking legal issue.

Via Tolmie info about him being offered to us summarising it in my opinion Forest now trying to give Gibbs white a solution if he still wants to leave by bringing us back into negotiations. Forest owner doesn’t want to do any business with Spurs because of how they have approached the deal.

Forest want McAtee. That’s now opened up an opportunity for us

None of the first bit sounds remotely plausible.

If he has a release clause, what woukd be the point of it being secret? And how would you enforce its secrecy. And once activated, there would be no point wanting more or holding out being pissed off.

I think 60mil(his release clause) is about right. When the talk of 80+ was doing the rounds it was a defo no from me but 60 sits ok.

Nunes is a square peg at RB, shouldn’t be playing there and not good enough for midfield, cash in on him if there’s any interest from anyone.

Bit of a dilemma with both Nunes and Rico falling into the same squad filler category, 'not good enough to be regular RB' and can fill in down the right side/midfield on occasions in lesser games when needed, but neither at the top level to ever hold down a regular spot.

I really can't see Rico being moved on so I would not be at all surprised if Nunes goes. Even though he's got more about him at RB imo.
