Isn't the relationship with NYCFC a bit spiky? Particularly the fans. I remember their fans turning on us over the Lampard situation a few years ago. Don't think we've got any youth players there atm, and they've improved since they stopped taking our kids.

Nah we still move players there. Their current player of the season was a CFG move from Torque, been a couple of others. Nothing direct from City though or vice versa. He's probably fucked now unless they agree to rip up the contract with Bournemouth.

Yeah I meant city youth products rather than CFG moves, but before we sent harrison, angelino etc. Players on our books.

To be fair have we ever sent direct academy products to NY? Most of them have been cfg type players.

Seems strange there is no clause to end the contract if both parties agree. Allowing him to at least play for the EDS.

I think the contract is finished (maybe, who pays his wages and the loan fee will come into it somewhere), the problem is we can't register him outside of the window as the registration stays with them until the summer regardless.

Edit: there's only 5 PL2 games left BTW.

Don't need to be registered for PL2 game or cup games, he'd be fine to play at that level or for FA/Carabao etc.

Should have been torn up as soon as a move wasn't on the cards before midnight deadline day. Total fuckup somewhere.

Pretty sure. He was registered at the start of the season on the Premier League u21 list. If the loan agreement is terminated it would revert back to us. He'd be eligible to play at any comp apart from CL for the first team. For PL2 think they have no registration rules, so he could play.
