Do we know why he didn’t succeed at Bournemouth?

He can’t shine in our academy when he’s not here!

He wants to play first team football asap, so he’ll go on loan again next season in all probability unless sold.

Don't know about Bournemouth.

I mean relative to other academy talents abroad who are doing better.

He will go on loan for sure, he left to play first team football, nothing wrong with that, but unfortunately just hasn't gone right for him for probably a couple of reasons.

Yes, I think that's the plan as well.

It is a great plan from City and other clubs who have been doing this over the years. By the young talents at a cheap price, and sell on later. They don't need to improve by much to make your money back and it's easy to bank on the chance they can be very good.

Borges has already displaced him on the LW as a potential option for us in the future, hope he does well for himself wherever he ends up, but I'm mostly mentally checked out with him.

Yep, could even sell him back to West Brom to negate any sell ones too.

I agree. He was not a standout for our youth teams and the gap to the main squad is enormous. He might have a decent career, but I think it will be in the Championship, at best. Good luck to him, regardless.

He's not playing for certain, in fact he hasn't played since 22/01/2022 for Bournemouth in the Championship. I think that was partly down to registration issues when he came back early but what's going on with him now I've no idea.

That’s why I asked. Couldn’t find any change in his status on Transfermarket, most peculiar.

They have changed it to his loan ending at the end of May and he's still got a year on his contract. I wonder if he's one of those players that don't actually enjoy the day job, he's semi active on Instagram and Twitter but with no mention of football.

Of course he may just be injured.
