Morgan Rogers | Signed by Middlesbrough

Hopefully has a positive impact. Hoping Fiorini will be back soon and give the whole Blackpool team a lift as they’ve had rotten luck with injuries.

Blackpool have just sacked Appleton, the manager who signed Morgan on loan and who previously had him in a very successful loan spell at Lincoln.
Really hope this doesn’t affect his game time, the lad has had a terrible run of bad luck.
As the late great local boxing manager Jack Trickett once said of the similarly luckless Michael Brodie, “Throughout his whole career Michael just never had the luck when he needed it most. If he fell into a barrel of tits he'd come up sucking his thumb."

This is the sickening part of football, the luck. You have absolute dog shit players on £50-80k a week because they got the break, and then you have young talented lads who could/would of been better but didn’t get the luck

Agree 100%, luck, timing and opportunity is every bit as important as talent
As an example, Joey Barton was probably the fifth best player in his age group at City but got his chance under Keegan and took it

Played up front and got the assist to set up the winner for Poveda-Ocampo in Blackpool’s win at Birmingham, and caretaker manager Stephen Dobbie said: “It's probably the best game I've seen Morgan Rogers have in a Blackpool shirt. He was fantastic. He showed what he can do with his hold-up play, his strength, running the channels and then when he got the ball, making little combinations and making things happen."
