Why in the top left corner are Morocco represented by MAR?
"Why is Morocco 'MAR'? While the country's English name is Morocco, it's known as Maroc in French. According to a 2018 report from Slate, even though the official languages of the country are Arabic and Tamazight, French continues to have a powerful position there as a holdover from the colonial era."

I'd imagine they would like it to be ALM for their Arabic name Al-Mamlaka al-Maghribiya (though, I am sure that would cause some conflicts with other Arabic-dominate nations).

I said something similar in the last England match thread (I consider both halves equal). ;-)

You'll be dressed up like Two Face from Batman, with your half England half Spain top for the final... Don't forget your half and half scarf :)

This is because of the large French influence in the country, whilst the official languages of the country are Arabic and Berber. The French word for Morocco is Maroc - and the abbreviation MAR is therefore used for sporting events and as the official country code.
