the morrocan community here depending on who you ask don't have the best of reputations.

They tend to be discriminated against by the Spanish and Catalans.
They will tell you all sorts of wife's tales which go back 100s of years.
More recently in the Spanish civil war whereas Franco used them as mercenaries.

These days a small number which makes it seem like a lot , mostly though lack of opportunities and peer pressure turn to various crimes , mainly street robberies.
