I have really enjoyed each series but think it has now run its course.

I felt a bit like this watching this latest series.

Mortimer is a lifelong Middlesbrough fan .... Whitehouse is a lifelong Tottenham fan .... the show is excellent, apparently Phil Foden turned up on it the other night.

Never really got into them as a double act. But Whitehouse was excellent in The Fast Show. The unsaid relationship between Lord Ralph and Ted was brilliant.

How can anyone not like this show when Ted makes an appearance.
He is the best pooch on TV.

They have earned the right to carry on their adventure.

I have read their book about the series and basically, Bob’s wife reached out to Paul to help rekindle some hope into his life after his serious illness.
Paul has health issues too and they clicked.

I was drinking in a flat in Crouch End with Paul when Gazza did his Cruff thingy- lovely guy.

A bit of laurel & hardy with George & Lennie ( of mice and men) with their health struggles made a fantastic series wether your into fishing or not , the episode regarding Paul’s mother with the grammar phone singing was so poiniant.
