moscow at home crowd.

My first game of the season and looking forward to it. After being at Ajax home and away last season i'm hoping for a first win!

I still have to pinch myself whenever I hear the Champions League theme in connection with City.

Don't worry about what the Rags think. Even if we sold out they would convince themselves we had twenty thousand empty seats. Spoke to a rag the other day who swore blind we regularly got league crowds of less than 20,000 in the 3rd tier!!

wasnt going tonight due to cost and also being bonfire night.
Got a ticket at the last minute for me and the lad.
Is it true the club are doing a firework display about 6.30 ?

it's not just 28 quid though is it, its advertised at 33 quid, and kids 17.50, parking a tenner, petrol, food etc.
for a family there isn't going to be much change out of a ton for opposition that 99% of people couldn't name one player.

the crowd is what it is, those who can afford it will go, and those who cannot won't, it's up to the club to strike a balance, up to yet for whatever reason they have failed.
I'll name the opposition:

All
Those - Who - Go - To
Watch - Our - Opponents
Rather - Than - City

It is of the utmost importance for supporters to make the effort to attend this game. The whole strategy of the club is to achieve success in the Champions League first, followed secondly by success in the EPL. This is what Sheikh Mansour wants, and I would think our major players want that too. So much of our need to meet the requirements of FFP comes through this competition, and the ego of the players who wish to be 'seen' in their own attempts to guarantee a place at International level means that they will only stay at a club that takes this competition seriously. If fans can't be bothered, preferring to watch a few fireworks instead of backing the club, what sort of message is that sending out? When we read of rumours linking "the £40m rated" Sergio Aguero with a move to Barca, then a half hearted approach to the competition by some of our fans isn't going to help. I think these valuations are a load of cobblers, but the danger is that players like Kun would push for a move to a major club that takes European success seriously.
