Most annoying accent

Scouse and that annoying fucking rhyming slang from London.
Apples and pears its fucking stairs.
Trouble and strife its fucking wife.
Cunts like the sound of thier voices either that or they think that they are talking in code that no one with half a brain cell can work out.

The London grime accent. Cockneys don't exist anymore.
Even more annoying are northern grime / wannabe urban types who speak in a London accent. Heard it loads on interviews with rappers etc.

Mate you're from fucking Chorlton, not Croydon ffs.

Used to be people pretending to be American, now London rappers are the trendy thing everyone wants to sound like bloody Stormzy.

God I'm getting old.

Swansea has the worst accent
Then Brummie and Black Country
Then Scouse

A posh version of the Swansea accent is Stacey from Gavin and Stacey. They sound like they’re taking while rolling marbles around in their mouth at the same time. Bloody awful!

Only **** with a proper Barry/Cardiff accent on the whole show

Worse than that is that young Mancunian lads have started talking in that London grime accent. They lack pride in where they come from to start faking that accent. They sound fucking ridiculous!

Instead of saying things like “Me ‘ouse is me ‘ome”, these young Mancunians faking that London grime shit now say “ma HHouse is ma HHome” with massive over-emphasis on the “H”.

City won’t ever be referred to as “Citeh” on social media anymore because these young lads say “Ci’eee” now.

And the way we all take the piss out of Scousers for not being able to pronounce their ‘TH’s by mimicking them saying “de do dough don’t de dough”, will also disappear because these young Mancunian lads faking this London grime accent now also can’t pronounce their ‘TH’s and everything is “Dis Dat and Da udder”.

Easily the scousers... I used to watch the ambulance emergency programme on tv but the last series and the one that's currently on is set in Merseyside... I've had to stick my noise cancelling headphones on and watch shit on the ipad as the accents on there and the whole "scouse not English" vibe gets right on my pips....

SWMBO is from the Wirral and she's a fan of the dippers so she loves it.. I daren't tell her I hate the fucking programme :-D

Top call Mr Casual.
The Swansea Jacks aka the vowel thieves.
“Whose coooooaaaat is that Jaaaaacket”
“ I’ll have a paaaaastie and a can of faaaaaanta”

Scouse, hands down. The second I hear it I expect aggro and unfortunately it isn't just a perception.

Case in point, took the kids to a park yesterday and there was a small funfair there. As we were walking in there was an Ian Rush lookalike leaning over a woman with a pram and shouting in broad scouse "He's not da man, I'm da man!" whilst doing his best impression of a robot, all straight arms and puffed out chest trying to make himself look bigger.

Big lad comes over and asks what the problem is... "Nuffink... Unless you've got a problem?" In fact, thinking about it, it probably was Ian Rush.

I'll also openly admit I'm no fan of really broad Manc, despite having a clear Manc accent myself. But I think that is because it became popular since the 90s to put on a fake Mancunian accent, or at least accentuate it. Plus, Terry Christian.

companies research accents and actually locate their call centres in places like Sunderland,Glasgow etc as these accents are known to be percieved as trustworthy, sympathetic etc ,hence no call centres in the Merseyside area!
Aussie for me ,that dreadful intonation at the end of each sentence

Oh this is a fun one!

South African (seuth effricahn?) twang is quite fun and unique, but over time I have found it to be a bit grating. I know South Africa is a huge country with several different languages and I'm sure tons of different regional dialects, so I'm generalizing a bit, apologies to any South Africans on here. EDIT: A google search tells me it is the "White Johannesburg" accent I am most likely thinking of.

Had a coworker from Dumfries a few years back and it genuinely felt as though we were speaking different languages. Could barely understand a word the fucker was saying, and honestly I think he struggled to understand me. Google tells me it is a "Dumfries and Galloway" accent but yeah...that one.

And what's life without humility - many American accents are downright terrible. Boston accent? Disgusting. New York accent? Fuck off, I'd rather jump off a bridge. But a special mention to my own - the Philadelphia accent. A dialect so particularly awful, most people from the area lose it the second they leave. The only genuine examples I could point to would be the shows Mare of Eastown (Kate Winslet nailed it) and, to a lesser extent, The Wire.

Probably will have to duck for cover on this one, but I love the Liverpool accent. Can barely understand a word they're saying, but I worked at a summer camp about a decade back and fell in love with a girl with the thickest, most aggressive scouse accent you could find, so it'll always hold a special place in my heart.

That fake gangsta accent adopted by young people mainly. Especially in London but sadly appears to be spreading. Nobody spoke like that in London about 15 years ago but now it seems that the majority of young kids are speaking with that twang especially in inner-city London. Clinton Morrison is the public face of the accent but I have to turn him off when I see/hear him. Now the accent is cropping up on adverts as tv/radio companies are desperately trying to come over all PC and down with the kids, innit blud fam.

Boston is the only cool accent in America
