Most annoying football cliche?

Whenever a team from Trafford isn’t playing:

‘When they played and lost against Manchester United …’
‘…Used to play for Manchester United …’
‘They have some way to go to beat the Manchester United record of…’
‘I watched Manchester United yesterday and they played that move far better…’
‘…is related to the Manchester United legend…’
‘…his play reminds me of the young Manchester United lad…’
Ad infinitum

What do they even mean by a six pointer ? Never understood it
When we win against Arsenal we will get three points to our tally, and at the same time assure they don't get any points.

So when playing a specific team the effect is similar to getting six points in one game (since by winning we at the same time prevent them from getting three points as well).

Pretty much anything to do with goalkeeping. "Shouldn't get beaten at your near post" and "should have done better" both spring to mind.

The latter, in particular, since it's said whenever a goalie gets their fingertips to a shit. In those cases they'd get less criticism if they made less of an effort to save it.

I agree, they would be doing much better if they used toilet paper instead.
