Rick Holden ...at Oldham he got crosses in time after time. Put a blue shirt on and was completely ineffective.

I do remember a game at Highfield rd early 90s 2 down and we won 3-2,tricky Ricky was excellent on the left wing that day.

Vuoso was an odd signing (possibly a recommendation from Osorio who was briefly a coach) but it could be down to him not fully adapting to life in England. No other European club took a gamble on him after leaving City but he did recover and carved himself a good career in Mexico.

Surprised no one has mentioned Bernardo Silva.

After watching him for Monaco and, later, Portugal in the Confederations Cup, I was convinced he would be David Silva's heir apparent.

But he's done **** fuck all since signing. Get rid.

To be fair, he's had f*ck all service. I can't remember a single City player ever passing to him.

Hopefully we can do a quick sell-on - reckon we might get 5-10 million in today's market.

Out of that list based on money paid, I would have to say that I agree with Mangala, Bony, Santa Cruz and Jovetic.

I would add Robinho and Boateng, Rodwell, Sinclair.

going back, Daley, Robinson, Bob Taylor, Mills, Pointy, Weah, Buster Phillips, Negoui (couldn't be arsed looking up how to spell it), Vuoso.

I am sure there are many many more

F*ck me, I'd forgotten about Vuoso! Paid 4 million quid when that was a lot of money (especially for us) and I don't think he ever played a game.
