David Silva is still the best player I’ve ever seen play for us.

Putting the post takeover period to one side as we are able to attract a different level of player nowadays, Peter Barnes always raised my anticipation level when I were a lad.
Invariably the end product didn't match the anticipation, but that was partly due to those type of players being given a freedom of expression that is less in evidence now with more emphasis on ball retention.

David Silva was the most exciting player I have seen at City.

Its very early days but even so Haaland does seem possibly that little bit different. Aside from his astonishing ability to score goals, the walking round the stadium on his own at the end clapping the fans, the statements of how he loves playing for the club make it all a bit more special. Can't wait so him and the guys play next, this alone is exciting for me.
