I see quite a few have mentioned David Silva.
I wouldn’t describe David as an exciting player. Probably the classiest most consistent player we’ve ever had but his game was all about calmness and coolness, almost the opposite to excitement.
Exciting players are often erratic and are the sort of players who’ll take players on, run at pace, and blast shots at goal as well as losing possession a lot and blasting some of those shots into Row Z.
I’d describe Cancelo, Sané, Wright-Phillips, Kinkladze, Haaland, Tevez, de Bruyne, Yaya, Agüero, Foden as exciting players. The sort of players who move you to the edge of your seat because they’re playing on the edge of manicness. David Silva was more of a player who made you sit back in comfort nodding your head at how good he was rather than getting you on the edge of your seat.
Our most exciting? For me would be when Yaya went on one of those runs from deep in midfield right up to the opposition box.
