Most famous person you have met?

All the A-listers...shook hands with Craig Charles and sat down and had a beer at a festival with all the lads from the Lancashire Hotpots last year.

I've never met anyone famous apart from when Richard Branson landed his helicopter on our school field, but I once had a fight with a group of Jenny Frost's (she was in atomic kitten) friends at a hatton fight and it was reported in The Sun.

Gene Simmons or Ozzy Osbourne. Sundry rock musicians of varying levels of fame: I've had back stages passes for several gigs, the biggest being Day on the Green in 1981 with REO Speedwagon headlining and UFO amongst the support acts. Had a very pleasant chat with the bass player from Kansas whilst he was waiting to go on stage.

I've also been in the players lounge at City several times.

Our new next door neighbour appears on TV. Tessa-Peake Jones (Raquel in Only Fools and Horses) and Douglas Hodge live in a nearby village and their daughter used to babysit for our daughters.

Not the most famous but funny.....Chesney Hawkes while on holiday with ex GF. Saw him at the bar and proceeded to tell her what a twat he was and how sick everyone was of his song "the one and only". Couple hours (and a lot of beers ) later I am belting out his hit, arms round Chesney like he was my best mate ! Must say he was a nice chap and invited us out on his speedboat next day (which we declined once I had sobered up).

Was at the end of season do last year and although not really meeting, got some good pics with Vinny, Zaba, NDJ and the Goat.
Chesney is a top lad. Here's a mate with him at some bar in town.

Haha, he has aged a lot better than me to be fair. As you say, top lad.

Noel, Liam, John Squire, Mani, Michael Caine, Paul McCartney, Jack Nicholson.

OK I might have not 'met' the last 3. Just seen them and shook their hands. John Squire is a really top bloke, scruffy **** though.
