NDJ, SWP, Colin Hendry. All hit hard has they left a massive void in the team/squad......Owen, Barnes and Tueart from the 70's and Clive Wilson, Andy Hinchcliffe and Paul Simpson from the 80's.......and the Goat obviously

Lots of people on here mentioning Trevor Francis, a player we could never afford at the time and he came out that Bond bullied Swales into forking out 1.2 million for him. It turned out to be a shite bit of business, as he as constantly injured and left for 700,000; a loss of 500,000, a hell of a lot of money at the time.

Can't argue about us not being able to afford the loss on the deal, but he played in two-thirds of the games that season which is hardly constantly injured, especially when compared to RSC or Rodwell.
