Balotelli - not necessarily because of what he did on the pitch, but what he contributed as a member of the squad and the culmulative effect of his leaving following the departure of big personalities and well liked members of what was a winning squad (De Jong and Johnson).
I can't help but feel that the air of deflation hangover from the disatrous summer window will be even greater now Mario has left.
I know those that remain are well paid and few will have any sympathy for them - but we all like a lively, fun working environment - which (Mario and Mancini fights excepted) it largely was (if CityTV is to be believed). It's all very well having a team of dedicated professionals Kompany's, Milner's and Barry's, but teams thrive where there is comerarderie and banter and I'm sure for the likes of Silva, Y Toure and Aguero, being with personalites, such as the recent departees, made up for many a piss soaked day at Carrington. I fear this player exit will have a detrimental effect on our squad mentally and at worse prompt others to think of moving on.
Yes - I am a miserable negative sod at the moment
